 Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong (CFQ) is a complete healing system providing a map for people to rescue themselves from the habitual sufferings and stress of thoughts, feeling, actions and physical and emotional traumas of the past to arrive at physical and emotional well being. 


An exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates.  These custom programs are practiced to enhance body awareness, stimulate and retrain movement firing patterns and to create symmetry and balance in the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.


The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences and breath work.   




I have worked with Erin for almost 20 years. After an arthroscopic knee surgery went south, the physical therapist recommended Pilates. I honestly would be a different person if I hadn’t stayed with Erin throughout the years. Her dedication to healing is quite amazing. 

She assesses your condition with extraordinary perception and slowly, with crafty precision plans your exercise. Her skill in explaining the Pilates process not only includes exercises focused to your body’s needs, but her verbal and tactile prompts make the process easy to grasp.

After each session I feel stronger, more relaxed and looking forward to our next class.

Erin is a skilled practitioner of restorative movement therapies and an Instructor of Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong (CFQ).  


After completing her BFA in Dance at York University in Toronto, Erin travelled to Long Beach California to study Pilates under Marie Jose Blom Lawrence.


In 1999, Erin began teaching at Long Beach Dance Conditioning and quickly discovered an innate ability to work with compromised individuals, helping them to move and access greater health despite physical limitations, chronic pain syndromes or autoimmune issues.

In 2002, to further deepen her understanding of movement, Erin completed training in the GYROTONIC®️ method under Master Trainer Donna Place and in 2004 she completed the GYROKINESIS®️ Method Training with Juliu Horvath-the creator of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®️. She has gone on to certify in specialized GYROTONIC®️ trainings with Master Trainers from around the world.

With over 20 years in the professional pursuit of health and wellness Erin has had the good fortune to participate in many courses and learning opportunities with leading minds in the fields of fitness, therapeutic bodywork, bio mechanics, energy work and meditation.


In 2013 she began her practice of CFQ Qigong, studying with CFQ creator Master Yap Soon-Yeong in Malaysia in 2015 and 2019. CFQ and its principals of cultivating presence for healing has become the fundamental technique that Erin uses to facilitate transformative positive change for her clients. 

Erin finds that working with hundreds of clients over the years has been one of the best learning tools. Being able to observe the differences in each individual while discovering the common life flow that connects us all has developed her ability to teach and help people discover a true path to their own wellness and happiness.
