  • Can anyone join a class or workshop?
    Most anyone can learn CFQ Healing Qigong though some considerations should be taken for best learning/ healing effect: An individual session/ Intro to CFQ/ Level 1 training is recommended before starting CFQ weekly group classes. Women who are pregnant should not begin learning CFQ Healing Qigong until they are no longer pregnant.

  • What's the difference between a class, workshop, or a training?
    Intro to CFQ workshop is a good way to be introduced to CFQ dynamic practice and principals to begin shifting yourself into health and healing CFQ Level 1 Training is for people who wish to learn the complete CFQ Level 1 dynamic movements/ principals/ tools to begin a daily self practice for health and healing CFQ Weekly Group Practice is best for people who already have a daily practice of the principals/ tools of CFQ. Group practice is an opportunity to hone one's skills and share in group healing.
  • What are some benefits I can expect from practicing CFQ Healing Qigong?
    There are no limits to the benefit of practicing CFQ Healing Qigong. Some issues that are commonly addressed are: Chronic pain, migraines, tinnitus, digestive/ elimination disorders, environmental sensitivities, blood disorders, mental/emotional imbalances, nervous system disfunction, circulatory compromises, respiratory issues, fibromyalgia, auto immune disorders, PTSD and many more. Generally one can feel life coming back to the body in the very first session.
  • How do I know if CFQ Healing Qigong is right for me?
    It is common for a person to feel the benefits of CFQ Healing Qigong in the first session. CFQ Healing Qigong is a practice that has verifiable results that are physically felt rather than intellectually understood. The best way to know if CFQ is right for you is to try 1 to 5 sessions. When you feel initial healing effects- that is a good basis to build on. If you feel no physical effect after an initial CFQ session then we are hopeful you will one day come back to try CFQ again at another time. We sincerely hope you will find a practice that will be effective for your resilient health and wellbeing.
  • Will CFQ Healing Qigong have the same movements and forms as other styles of qigong I may have practiced elsewhere?
    Qigong is a generic term in Chinese that loosely refers to an "energy practice". There are many forms/ styles/ practices of qigong and CFQ Healing Qigong will be different from any qigong you may have practiced previously.
  • What should I wear for a CFQ Qigong session, class, workshop or training?
    No special clothing required. Be comfortable. We ask everyone to remove outdoor footwear however you may bring "indoor" footwear if you prefer not to be barefoot.
  • What does the word Qigong mean?
    A general translation from Chinese is: Qi (chi)= energy/ life resource Gong= practice
